Appeal hearing in the P. Shala case ends/judgment in due course

Following the submissions by the parties yesterday and today, as well as the personal address by the appellant Shala, the appeal hearing in this case has concluded. Among other submissions, the Defence stated that the convictions should be reversed and their client acquitted of all counts, while the SPO argued that Shala’s appeal should be rejected in its entirety.

The Court of Appeals Panel will render its judgment in due course.
