Thaçi et al.: Continued detention for Hashim Thaçi (August 2026)

In its latest detention review decision of 10 August 2026, the Trial Panel in the case against Thaçi, Veseli, Selimi and Krasniqi ordered the continued detention of Hashim Thaçi. The Panel found that the risks that the accused may obstruct the progress of the proceedings or commit further offences continue to exist. 

Please note that this is separate from the detention review decision issued on 31 July 2026 in the administration of justice case, as reported last week.
