The Hague International Open Day

On 22 September, the Kosovo Specialist Chambers and Specialist Prosecutors Office participated in The Hague International Open Day and opened its doors to the public from 9:30 to 12:30. Around 80 people - mostly students  - visited the public area, the press conference room, the media center and the public gallery from where they could view the courtroom. Staff members from KSC and SPO explained the history and mandate of the court and its outreach programme. Staff also provided information on the rights of accused, victims’ participation as well as in-court protective measures.
