The KSC’s leadership case involving war crimes and crimes against humanity concluded at the end of the year 2025 with the closure of the Defence case and the Appeals Panel issued its judgment in another war crimes case. In addition, pre-trial proceedings in a case related to offences against the administration of justice were completed and plea agreements were approved in a second case with the three accused admitting guilt to charges of obstructing official persons in performing official duties. The President and the Registrar travelled to Kosovo in May and October 2025, respectively, to meet with stakeholders and to inform them about ongoing court activities. The President also made herself available for interviews with Kosovo media and meetings with civil society. The outreach team has continued to organise a wide range of events throughout Kosovo during 2025.
