The President of the Kosovo Specialist Chambers, Judge Ekaterina Trendafilova issued today an administrative decision formally locating specific proceedings of the Specialist Chamber of the Constitutional Court to the Netherlands (the Host State). In accordance with the Law, the Kosovo Specialist Chambers has a seat both in Kosovo, as well as in the Host State.  

On 30 March 2017, the Presiding Judge of the Specialist Chamber of the Constitutional Court, Judge Ann Power-Forde, invoked a change of venue to the Host State for the Specialist Chamber of the Constitutional Court pursuant to Article 3(8) of the Law. Today, in compliance with Article 3(8)(d) of the Law, the President issued an administrative decision relocating the proceedings related to the Specialist Chamber of the Constitutional Court’s review of constitutionality of the Rules of Procedure and Evidence. With this decision, the President ensures that all necessary steps are taken and that the current proceedings before the Specialist Chamber of the Constitutional Court can run smoothly and efficiently.
