The Trial Panel in the Mustafa case granted the application of four more victims and admitted them as victims participating in the proceedings. The Panel decided that they will form part of Group 1, represented by Anni Pues, Victims’ Counsel assigned by the Registrar. More details in the decision.

In another decision, the Panel decided to appoint an expert, who would prepare a report in relation to potential reparations to victims and ordered the KSC Victims’ Participation Office to submit a list of three relevant experts, by 4 June.

The Trial Panel in Mustafa case today decided to convene a trial preparation conference, in public session, on 9 June at 09:30, which is to be continued, if necessary, on 10 June. The Panel also decided to convene additional trial preparation conferences on 10 and 11 June, which will be held in closed session. More details in the decision.

As announced in our Court Calendar, the fifth Status Conference in the case against Hysni Gucati and Nasim Haradinaj is scheduled to take place on Friday, 28 May, at 11:00 More information in the scheduling order.

As announced in our Court Calendar, the fifth Status Conference in the case against Thaci et al.is scheduled to take place on Wednesday,  19 May, at 11:00 More information in the scheduling order.

On 7 May 2021, the Registrar assigned Mr Laws to represent the victims in the case of the Specialist Prosecutor v Hashim Thaçi, Kadri Veseli, Rexhep Selimi and Jakup Krasniqi. The Pre-Trial Judge accepted nine individuals as victims participating in the proceedings on 21 April 2021.

On 7 May 2021, the Registrar assigned Dr Pues to represent the victims in the Case of the Specialist Prosecutor v. Salih Mustafa. The decision comes a week after the Pre-Trial Judge accepted the applications of five victims to participate in the proceedings. 

Today, the President assigned Judges to Trial Panel I upon transmission of the Mustafa case file.

The Pre-Trial Judge today notified the President that the case file in the case against Salih Mustafa will be ready for transmission to the Trial Panel on 7th May 2021.

Today, Kadri Veseli was transferred back to The Hague and has arrived at the Detention Facility of the Kosovo Specialist Chambers (KSC).
