KSC Weekly Press Briefing on 4 July
Another KSC weekly press briefing will take place on Thursday, 4 July, at 14:30. During this briefing, the KSC Spokespersons will provide a short update on the latest developments in the judicial proceedings before the KSC, as well as on other public activities of the Court. Journalists will have the opportunity to ask questions. Pre-registration is required to attend each briefing. To pre-register, please send an email with name and affiliation to [email protected]. Deadline for pre-registration is every Thursday at 12:00. The Zoom details will be shared following pre-registration. Recordings of the update provided during the Weekly Press Briefings will be made available on the KSC YouTube Channel.

Thaçi et al. trial: 3rd day of witness Zyrapi’s testimony
This morning, the SPO continued the examination of its 75th witness in court Bislim Zyrapi, whose testimony began on 1 July.

Thaçi et al. trial adjourned for today/regular session tomorrow
As announced yesterday, today’s hearing was shorter than usual, so the trial adjourned for the day. The hearing tomorrow (3 July) is scheduled to follow the regular hours, from 09:00 until 16:30.

Thaçi et al. trial: no afternoon session tomorrow (2 July)
Due to the current witness being unavailable in the afternoon, the trial in the Thaçi et al. case is expected to take place from 09:00 to 13:00 on 2 July.

Thaçi et al. trial: SPO calls its next witness (75th so far in court)
Bislim Zyrapi is the new witness for the SPO, and his testimony started this morning. He is assisted by a duty counsel in the courtroom.
As per the Panel's information, this witness is not available to testify on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons. Therefore, his testimony for this week will occur for full days today and Wednesday, and for half days on Tuesday and Thursday.

Thaçi et al. trial adjourned for the week/resumes on 1 July
After the completion of the testimony of the SPO witness W04846, the trial in the Thaçi et al. case has adjourned for the day and the week. The hearing planned for tomorrow, 27 June, is cancelled. The proceedings will continue on Monday, 1 July, at 10:00.
