The Specialist Prosecutor’s Office has commenced with its opening statement at the trial against Salih Mustafa.

As announced in our Court Calendar, the seventh Status Conference in the case against Thaҫi, Veseli, Selimi and Krasniqi is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, 14 September, at 14:30. More information in the scheduling order.

The SPO preparation conference in the Gucati & Haradinaj case concluded today and the session scheduled for tomorrow is cancelled. During the hearing, the panel issued a number of oral decisions ordering, inter alia, that the trial in this case will commence on 7 October with the SPO opening statement. The presentation of the SPO evidence will commence on 18 October and the SPO will call 3 witnesses and have 4 hearing days for its case. The target dates for the closing of the SPO case and the trial in its entirety are currently set for 9 November and 17 December 2021, respectively.
