On 6 June 2024, Judge Nicolas Guillou submitted to President Ekaterina Trendafilova his resignation as Judge on the Roster of International Judges of the Kosovo Specialist Chambers (KSC), following his election as Judge of the International Criminal Court and his assumption of duties there.

On the same day, the Appointing Authority, Major General Giovanni Pietro Barbano, appointed Judge Marjorie Masselot (France) to the Roster of International Judges (Roster) in accordance with Article 28(4) of the Law on Specialist Chambers and Specialist Prosecutor’s Office. 

Following the resignation of Judge Guillou and appointment of Judge Masselot, President Trendafilova assigned Judge Masselot as Pre-Trial Judge in the Januzi et al. case, and as Single Judge in the case of Isni Kilaj.

Following the completion of Zoran Stanković's testimony, the trial in the Thaçi et al. case has adjourned for the day and the week. The proceedings will resume on Monday, 24 June, at 09:00.

Following the completion of the testimony of Nuhi Bytyçi, the Prosecution in the Thaçi et al. case called its 72nd witness this afternoon. The new witness is Zoran Stanković and he is testifying via video link. According to the SPO's summary presented in court, this witness was taken to the dormitory building in Gjilan where he was interrogated and beaten by members of KLA.

Another KSC weekly press briefing will take place on Thursday, 6 June, at 14:30. During this briefing, the KSC Spokespersons will provide a short update on the latest developments in the judicial proceedings before the KSC, as well as on other public activities of the Court. Following the completion of the testimony of witness W03170, the Prosecution in the Thaçi et al. case called its 71st witness this afternoon. The new witness is Nuhi Bytyçi who is a journalist who covered the Kosovo War.

On 31 May 2024, the Judges of the Specialist Chamber of the Constitutional Court (SCCC) elected Judge Vidar Stensland as the Presiding Judge of the SCCC for another one-year term starting 1 June 2024.
