This morning, the protected witness W04230, who is the 66th witness for the Prosecution in court, continued the testimony that began yesterday afternoon.

The Prosecution called its next witness this afternoon (66th in court so far). This is another protected witness with the pseudonym W04230, whose testimony is conducted viva voce, meaning it is a new testimony given orally in court without a prior witness statement.

Protected witness W04710 resumed testimony this morning. 

Please be informed about the modified court schedule for today: the first session will run until 10:30, followed by a 15-minute break. The second session will continue until 12:00. A lunch break is scheduled from 12:00 to 14:30, with the final session resuming from 14:30 to 16:30.

Another KSC weekly press briefing will take place on Thursday, 23 May, at 14:30. During this briefing, the KSC Spokespersons will provide a short update on the latest developments in the judicial proceedings before the KSC, as well as on other public activities of the Court. After witness Johan Rudolph Fritsch finished testifying, the Prosecution called its next witness this afternoon. This is a protected witness with the pseudonym W04710. According to the SPO's summary in court, this witness is a family relative of an alleged victim of enforced disappearance and murder in Drenoc/Drenovac. This is the 65th Prosecution witness so far in court.

Former KFOR Press Officer Johan Rudolph Fritsch continues his testimony that started yesterday.

Following the completion of witness Dietrich Jensch's testimony, the Prosecution in the Thaçi et al. case called its 64th witness this afternoon. The new witness is Johan Rudolph Fritsch who, as per the SPO's court summary, served as the KFOR Press officer in the Prizren area during the relevant period.

In accordance with the Panel's order from 21 February, the SPO announced today, 21 May, that it will no longer rely upon the evidence of ten witnesses. Additionally, the SPO will present the statements of 13 witnesses in written form instead of live testimony in court. Further information can be found in the notice.

The new witness, called by the Prosecution this morning, is Dietrich Jensch. As per the summary presented by the SPO in court, this witness served as a German KFOR officer in the Prizren area during the relevant period. He is the 63rd witness brought forward by the SPO in court.
