KSC Weekly Press Briefing on 13 July
Another KSC weekly press briefing will take place on Thursday, 13 July, at 14:30. During this briefing, the KSC Spokespersons will provide a short update on the latest developments in the judicial proceedings before the KSC, as well as on other public activities of the Court. Shala case: extension of time to file Defence’s motion for dismissal of charges
On 11 July, the Trial Panel in the Shala case partially granted the Defence request for an extension of time and ordered the Defence to file its motion for dismissal of charges, pursuant to Rule 130 of the Rules, no later than 24 August at 16:00. The responses by the SPO and the Victims’ counsel, if any, are to be submitted until 4 September 2023. More details are available in the decision.

Rrustem Mustafa, former KLA Commander of the Llap Operational Zone, is the next SPO witness at the trial of Thaçi et al. This is the 13th SPO witness so far.
