Following the completion of testimony of the last Haradinaj Defence witness, Robert Reid, the trial against Gucati&Haradinaj is adjourned for the week. It will resume on Monday, 31 January, at 09:30, with a status conference.

As announced in our Court Calendar, the 10th Status Conference in the case against Thaci, Veseli, Selimi and Krasniqi is scheduled for Friday, 4 February, at 14:30. More details in the scheduling order.

Another KSC weekly press briefing will take place on Thursday, 27 January, at 14:30. During this briefing, the KSC Spokespersons will provide a short update on the latest developments in the judicial proceedings before the KSC, as well as on other public activities of the Court. Journalists will have the opportunity to ask questions. Pre-registration is required to attend each briefing. The trial against Mustafa is adjourned for the week and the sessions, previously scheduled for Wednesday (26 January) and Thursday (27 January), are cancelled. The trial will resume on Tuesday, 1 February, at 09:30.

Former officer of the 153rd Brigade of the KLA, Sejdi Veseli, is the next SPO witness in the Mustafa trial.

The trial against Gucati&Haradinaj trial is adjourned for today. It will resume, as scheduled, on Friday, 28 January, at 08:00.

Trial Panel I issued its second decision on the conduct of the proceedings in the Mustafa trial, according to which the target date for the closing of the SPO case is set for 4 February, following the testimony of the SPO’s last witness W04849. Should the Defence wish to present a case, it shall file, by 11 February 2022, its lists of witnesses and exhibits.The Victims’ Counsel shall file within the same deadline a list of proposed (expert) witnesses to be called by the Panel, pursuant to Rule 114(5). The decision further states that the Defence preparation conference and the Victim’s status conference will be jointly convened on 17 February 2022, with 18 February, as a reserve day.

The fourth witness of the Haradinaj’s Defence is an expert witness, Robert Reid, former Chief of Operations at the Office of the Prosecutor of the ICTY.

The trial against Gucati and Haradinaj is adjourned for the week and it will resume on Monday, 24 January, when (as previously ordered by the Panel)  it should take place from 08:00 until 16:00.
