The 5th witness of the Gucati Defence and the last one for today is Metush Kryeziu, another member of the KLA War Veterans’ Association.

Following his order to the Kosovo police on 8 October and the subsequent submissions by the Kosovo police and the parties, the Pre-Trial Judge in the Thaci et al. case ordered the continued detention of Veseli, Krasniqi and Selimi. The decisions, made public yesterday (8 December), are available here.

A member of the KLA  War Veterans’ Association, Pren Marashi, is the next witness called by the Gucati Defence.

Elmedina Ballazhi is the next Gucati’s Defence witness. She worked as a journalist for “Arbresh.info” outlet during the relevant period.  

The second witness for the Gucati Defence is Taibe Miftari, who worked for  the KLA War Veterans’ Association in 2020.

Another KSC weekly press briefing will take place on Thursday, 9 December, at 14:30. During this briefing, the KSC Spokespersons will provide a short update on the latest developments in the judicial proceedings before the KSC, as well as on other public activities of the Court. The SPO resumes the cross- examination of witness Hysni Gucati.

Due to connectivity issues related to the video-link between the courtroom and the KSC Detention unit, the hearing today adjourned earlier than scheduled. The trial will resume, as scheduled, tomorrow morning at 09:30.

The accused Gucati resumes his testimony in the Gucati & Haradinaj trial. He is currently being cross-examined by the SPO.
