The Specialist Prosecutor’s Office has commenced with its opening statement at the trial against Hysni Gucati and Nasim Haradinaj.

The trial against Salih Mustafa is adjourned for the week and the session, scheduled for tomorrow (6 October), is cancelled. The trial will resume on Tuesday, 12 October, at 09:30.

The Victims’ counsel is currently putting questions to the witness W01679 in the Mustafa trial.

The Court of Appeals Panel decided on the appeals by Veseli, Selimi and Krasniqi against the decisions of the Pre-Trial Judge on the review of their detention. The Panel granted one ground of appeal by each accused and remanded the matter to the Pre-Trial Judge to further assess whether measures proposed by the detainees or any further condition the Pre-Trial Judge identifies as necessary may mitigate the identified risks and be effectively enforced by the Kosovo police.
