    The Pre-Trial Judge today notified the President that the case file in the case against Salih Mustafa will be ready for transmission to the Trial Panel on 7th May 2021.

    Kadri Veseli: custodial visit to Kosovo

    Due to compelling humanitarian grounds, the Pre-Trial Judge has instructed the Registry to manage a custodial visit to Kosovo for Mr. Kadri Veseli to meet immediate family. The Accused remains in pre-trial detention and in the custody of the Specialist Chambers. EULEX and Kosovo Police are supporting the Kosovo Specialist Chambers.

    Appeals dismissed by Appeals Panel in the Thaci et al. case

    On Friday, 30 April 2021, the Court of Appeals Panel issued four decisions dismissing the appeals filed by Hashim Thaçi, Kadri Veseli, Rexhep Selimi and Jakup Krasniqi, respectively, against four decisions of the Pre-Trial Judge rejecting their initial applications for interim release.

    First decision on victims' participation in Thaci et al. case

    On 21 April, Pre-Trial Judge Guillou issued the first decision on victims' participation in the Thaci et al. case. Nine applicants were admitted to the proceedings as participating victims (to be represented as one group) and seven applicants were rejected. The Pre-Trial Judge instructed the Victims’ Participation Office to revert back to one applicant in order to receive more information before making a determination thereon.
