As announced in our Court Calendar, the first Status Conference in the case against Pjetër Shala is scheduled to take place on Friday, 23 April, at 11:00 More information in the scheduling order. 

At his initial appearance before Pre-Trial Judge Guillou today, Pjetër Shala pleaded not guilty to all counts of the indictment.

On 9 April, the Specialist Prosecutor filed, as confidential, its pre-trial brief in the case against Hysni Gucati and Nasim Haradinaj. The relevant filing informing of this submission is available here.

Following the appeals by Gucati and Haradinaj against the Pre-Trial Judge’s decision on their preliminary motions regarding, inter alia, alleged defects in the confirmed indictment, President Ekaterina Trendafilova assigned a Court of Appeals panel consisting of Judges Michèle Picard, Emilio Gatti and Kai Ambos to decide on the appeals.
