    Sabit Januzi and Ismet Bahtjari arrested and transferred to the KSC detention facilities in The Hague

    Sabit Januzi and Ismet Bahtjari were arrested yesterday, 5 October 2023, in Kosovo by the Specialist Prosecutor’s Office, pursuant to arrest warrants, transfer orders and a confirmed indictment issued by a Pre-trial Judge of the Kosovo Specialist Chambers. They were transferred to the Detention Facilities of the Kosovo Specialist Chambers in The Hague today, 6 October 2023. More details in the Press Release.

    Thaҫi et al. case: new decision on the participation of victims

    On 4 October 2023, the Trial Panel in the Thaҫi et al. case granted a request of the Victims’ Counsel and allowed three close relatives of one of the victims, who has recently passed away, to continue the action as victims participating in the proceedings. Therefore, the number of participating victims in this case is now 143.

    KSC Weekly Press Briefing on 5 October

    Another KSC weekly press briefing will take place on Thursday, 5 October, at 14:30. During this briefing, the KSC Spokespersons will provide a short update on the latest developments in the judicial proceedings before the KSC, as well as on other public activities of the Court. Journalists will have the opportunity to ask questions. Pre-registration is required to attend each briefing. The Zoom details will be shared following pre-registration. Recordings of the update provided during the Weekly Press Briefings will be made available on the KSC YouTube Channel.
