On 26 February, the Kosovo Specialist Chambers as part of its Outreach as well as Visitors Programme hosted a visit by a group of 35 lawyers, students and university professors from different countries, mostly from Kosovo, Serbia, Croatia, UK and Netherlands. The visit was initiated by the Geoffrey Nice Foundation and the University of Amsterdam. Representatives of the KSC spoke about the jurisdiction, structure and mandate of the court as well as about role of the Defence Office, victim’s participation, media communication and the Outreach Programme. Following the presentations, the visitors and the panel discussed questions concerning jurisdiction, evidence, the legal aid system and the list of counsels for defence and victims participation.
