Members of the German Parliamentary Committee for Human Rights and Humanitarian Aid visited the Kosovo Specialist Chambers and Specialist Prosecutor’s Office at their premises today in The Hague. President Ekaterina Trendafilova, Deputy Specialist Prosecutor Kwai Hong Ip and Registrar Dr Fidelma Donlon briefed the visitors on developments at the Specialist Chambers and in the Specialist Prosecutor’s Office.

“I am grateful to the Federal Republic of Germany for its support to the Specialist Chambers and its mandate as an independent and impartial court of law, established with the support of the EU to conduct fair, impartial and secure proceedings,” said President Trendafilova. 

“As a representative of the German Bundestag, I am very impressed by the important work of the Kosovo Specialist Chambers and Specialist Prosecutors’ Office in ensuring accountability for grave crimes and managing secure and fair proceedings,” said Head of the Delegation, Jürgen Braun.
