On 11 September 2025, the Appointing Authority, Major General Giovanni Pietro Barbano, appointed Judge Christopher Gosnell (Canada) to the Roster of International Judges (Roster) in accordance with Article 28(4) of the Law on Specialist Chambers and Specialist Prosecutor’s Office. Judge Gosnell took his solemn oath on the same day.
The President of the Kosovo Specialist Chambers (KSC), Judge Ekaterina Trendafilova, expressed her warm welcome to Judge Gosnell and stated that she looks forward to working with him at the KSC.

Judge Gosnell’s appointment follows the resignation from the Roster of Judge Kenneth Roberts (Canada).
