The Kosovo Specialist Chambers welcome the Kingdom of Netherland’s ratification of the Host State Agreement (HSA) between the Netherlands and Kosovo.

The recently appointed Chief Prosecutor of the newly created Specialist Prosecutor’s Office, Mr David Schwendiman, visited Belgrade, where he met with senior representatives of the Serbian government, judicial authorities and the international community.

The recently appointed Chief Prosecutor of the newly created Specialist Prosecutor’s Office, Mr David Schwendiman, is visiting Pristina, where he is meeting with senior representatives of the Kosovo government and judicial authorities, as well as representatives of the international community.

David Schwendiman:"My appointment marks the formal transition of the EU Special Investigative Task Force into the Specialist Prosecutor’s Office."

On 01 September 2016, David Schwendiman, Lead Prosecutor of the EU Special Investigative Task Force (SITF), was appointed Specialist Prosecutor (Chief Prosecutor) of the newly established Kosovo Specialist Prosecutor’s Office (SPO).

In July 2016 the Call for nomination of President and for a Roster of International Judges of the Kosovo Specialist Chambers was issued by the European External Action Service.
